| Program Description
The program covers Network Management concepts including 5 main
domains in Network Management. it covers in depth CMIP/Q3 protocol
as well as GDMO syntax/semantics including ASN.1 syntax
Program Objectives
At the end of the course the student will be proficient in CMIP/Q3
protocol, ASN.1 notation, Basic Encoding Rules (BER) and understand
and design GDMO data. The student will be in a position to design
and interprete application specific GDMOs and write manger and agents.
Prerequisites
- A strong background in OOAD is required
- C/ C++/ Unix or equivalent
